Through reflective and collaborative practices, we will create a positive, safe, and inspiring learning environment that promotes a sense of community and ensures child-focused decision making to foster social, emotional, and career development in students to help them become motivated friends and learners.
Meet the Counselor
Constance Belew is the Hernando Elementary School counselor. She has a bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology from the University of Mississippi and has her Master’s degree of Science in Counseling from The University of Memphis. She is a National Certified Counselor and a National Certified School Counselor. Mrs. Belew is a member of the National American School Counselor Association, Mississippi Counselor Association, and the National Board of Certified Counselors. She has been a counselor with Desoto County Schools since 2012. She lives in Hernando, MS with her husband and daughter. Mrs. Belew enjoys spending time with family, painting, and cooking in her spare time.
